Yuga Labs Metaverse Project Leads Digital Land NFT Sales in 2023
2023 is coming to an end this week, and a list has come out showcasing the strong performance of Yuga Labs’ projects in terms of digital land NFT sales. According to reports, almost 80-70% of the projects on the list belong to Yga Labs. The projects under negotiation are Otherdeed for Otherside and Otherdeed Expanded.
Other Contract #67782 is 182.5 ETF. This equates to approximately $276,500. Although it occupies the most important position, the digital land NFT is only the smallest in size, and the best is yet to come. It was initially purchased at $1,515 per Ethereum. Otherdeed #67782 has two unique characteristics: mallow and lava.
Other contract #89263 is worth 186.9 ETH. That's the equivalent of $289,600 in the traditional sense. The initial acquisition price was $1,551 per Ethereum. Other Deed #89263 sold on January 14, 2023, contains 1/1 Enshrined Koda Core and 1/1 Shrine Prophet Koda Head.
Interestingly, one NFT has been sold twice. It belongs to Otherdeed #2118 and sells for 208 ETH. It's unclear how it came to be sold twice, but the transactions are known to have occurred within seven hours. ETH was valued at $1,737 at the time. Otherdeed #2118 remains one of the most expensive purchases.
The most expensive sale recorded was Otherdeed Expanded #5227, which sold for 270 ETH. The estimated value is approximately $514,350. The most expensive auction items were the set of Pandora's Box artifacts, Sulfur environments, and Lumileaf Eastern resources. As of May 3, 2023, the price per Ethereum coin was approximately $1,905.
That being said, anyone currently looking to dump some ETH will likely have to be prepared to incur larger fees. At the time of writing, a single ETH token is worth $2,260.11. It has fallen by 0.88% in the past 24 hours and increased by 84.99% last year.
Looking at the price of ETH on the platform may appear stagnant. This still shouldn't be misread as the same outlay as the initial purchase. The higher the value of ETH, means more dollars must now be spent.
Otherdeed launched on May 1, 2022 and is one of the fastest selling projects in the industry. The entire series or project was reportedly sold in just seven hours, fetching nearly $317 million for Yuga Labs. The success of this project prompted Yuga Labs to take another step in the same direction. Therefore, the team launched Otherside Expanded.
On April 3, 2023, Otherside Expanded was announced as a companion piece to its 2D strategy game Otherside: Legends of The Mara. Most of the items on the top 10 list are owned by n0b0dy.eth, an avid NFT collector.
